Lace up your sneakers for Merritt Group’s 2021 Annual Merrython!

by | Nov 2, 2021

Over this past year, Merritt Group has grown and evolved in more ways than one, and giving back is more important to us than ever. Last year, we had to get creative and come up with a way to engage staff, partners, and clients in helping our community, while keeping everyone safe and socially distanced. So today we’re thrilled to launch our 2nd Annual Merritt Group Merrython, a festive virtual 5K, 10K, or one-mile charity run that gives back to the community.

We had so much fun in 2020121 participants across 16 states hit the pavement running in the inaugural event and raised over $5,000 in proceeds. For the second year in a row, all proceeds from the race registration will benefit No Kid Hungry. Since the wake of the pandemic, 1 in 6 households with children could not buy enough food for their families. More than 42 million people may experience food insecurity, including a potential 13 million children, due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic. No Kid Hungry works to alleviate childhood hunger by helping launch and improve programs that give more kids access to healthy food.

So if you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity to do with your family or quarantine pod, join us the week of December 6th for our Merritt Group Merrython and support a great cause! Regardless of location, ability or schedule, anyone can participate. Put on your favorite holiday gear, snap some race photos and tag #MerrittMerrython and Merritt Group on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Sneak you soon on the virtual race course!
