Merritt Group Promotes Three to Vice President

Industry Veterans John Conrad, Thea Roberti and Jayson Schkloven to Drive Agency Practice Expertise and Growth

RESTON, Va. - May 27, 2008 - Merritt Group, Inc., a nationally-recognized communications firm that helps move markets for forward-thinking companies, today announced three promotions; John Conrad to Vice President, Thea Roberti to Vice President of Research and Jayson Schkloven to Vice President of Strategic Services. In their new roles, each will be responsible for delivering strategic direction, management and leadership in their respective areas to support the agency's growth and vision.

John Conrad, Vice President
John Conrad will be responsible for maintaining client service quality, staff professional development and overall account management and strategy for the agency. John has been with Merritt Group for over seven years and holds over 13 years of technology experience in public relations and journalism including previous positions with The Strategis Group and Information Inc.

Thea Roberti, Vice President and Practice Director, Research
In her new role, Thea Roberti will drive strategic direction for the Research Practice, including designing and implementing research and measurement programs that lay the foundation for agency and client PR initiatives and demonstrate the ROI of campaigns. Thea has over 17 years of research services and 11 years of library and information services experience. Prior to Merritt Group, Thea held research positions at Biz360 Inc., Upstart Communications/Fleishman-Hillard and Santa Clara University.

Jayson Schkloven, Vice President, Strategic Services
Jayson Schkloven's new responsibilities will include strategic client advisement and new business development. Jayson is also leading Merritt Group's strategy in the area of new media, working with clients to expand their reach beyond traditional public relations. Jayson has almost 10 years of experience in technology-focused public relations and had developed campaigns on behalf of clients ranging from publicly traded multinational corporations to venture-funded startups in the wireless telecommunications, enterprise software, and information technology markets.
